So it's been a while since I've posted. We spent a week in literally the middle of no where last week so we didn't have any internet service at all. Internet service, we barely had any phone service! Our trip was awesome. Spent time with the family without the interruption of modern day 'necessities'. It was fun and super HOT! I mean seriously it was deep south 100 degree a day heat! We spent time sliding on sip-n-slides, playing board and card games, and reading books. The best part was the super redneck slip and slide. My sweet husband had the idea to put two of those walmart slides together and and go for it. That worked really well for my Katie Grace but not so much for my "little" brother and cousins. So here is what their final product looked like:
Seriously redneck right! LOL When we returned from our trip we took KG to her appointment at the allergist we learned that she is definitely allergic to the fire ants and is 'nearly' allergic to peanut butter. We go to get blood drawn on Monday morning to know for sure about that and if yes to what degree.
Today I went to my first offical workshop as a teacher! That was fun! I feel like I learned some good stuff that I can use in my classroom! Looking forward to getting into my classroom and getting it all together so that I can call it MINE!!!
